𝚂𝚘𝚞𝚔𝚘𝚔𝚞❥ Chuuya already fell first extremely hard, but then they both fell harder.

𝚂𝚑𝚒𝚗 𝚂𝚘𝚞𝚔𝚘𝚔𝚞ꕤ Akutagawa fell first but he didn’t realize it until Chuuya made him understand, he also fell harder(I mean— c’mon, he literally promised Atsushi he wouldn’t kill for 6 months. The guy he supposedly “hates”. Yeah I don’t think so)

𝙵𝚢𝚘𝚕𝚊𝚒ꕺ Who tf knows with these two, they probably did both at the same time.

𝚁𝚊𝚗𝙿𝚘𝚎☾˙❀‿❀˙☽ Ok— Poe definitely fell first because I believe that no matter how smart Ranpo is, he doesn’t realize he has feelings for Poe. He can easily spot who likes who but not who likes him. And he definitely doesn’t realize he loves Poe until someone questioned if they were together or not. He says no but then when that person says they would be good together and it seems like they have feelings for each other he finally realizes how he feels.

He fell harder after that.(but did not confess first because he for some reason couldn’t tell if Poe liked him back or not)

𝙺𝚘𝚞𝚈𝚘𝚜𝚊ᐛ Yosano fell first and harder.Kouyou is still in disbelief she managed to get Yosano.

(𝚃𝚊𝚗𝚒𝚣𝚊𝚔𝚒𝚡𝚃𝚊𝚌𝚑𝚒𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚊)𝚃𝚊𝚗𝚒𝚃𝚊𝚌𝚑𝚒▽ Tachihara fell first and harder. He didn’t understand why and hates it because Tanizaki seems to hate him. He doesn’t, he just doesn’t know how to talk to him ಥ_ಥ.

𝙺𝚞𝚗𝚒𝙺𝚊𝚝𝚊𝚒ꕤ Katai fell first but Kunikida fell harder when he fully realized his feelings.

𝚂𝚞𝚎𝙶𝚒𝚔𝚞𐀔 Tecchou fell first and tried to hide it.(from Jouno and himself.) Jouno figured it out a long time ago and definitely fell harder. He was waiting for Tecchou to say something/confess but Jouno ended up confessing.

Today passed quicker than you expected. Since your birthday plans were canceled due to his work, you had much more time to do other things - although of course the disappointment did not fully dissipate. 

You were typing away at your laptop, focusing on work that demanded utmost attention, and by the time you had finished the clock almost struck midnight. Was it that late? Oh well. One last look at your phone messages was all you had to do before sleeping anyway - your heart was especially expectant when you checked on his conversation - but there was nothing. Such was life, you thought, and you were about to tuck yourself in when a loud knock interrupted you. 

Curiously you strode to your door, and the moment you opened it you nearly gasped at the mess of a man standing in front of it.

“Wh-what am I looking at…?” you asked in confusion.

“Your boyfriend…?”

Tetchou was far from presentable: his cap was barely on his sweaty hair and his uniform stained with blood aside from the torn and frayed portions. It was the complete opposite from the bouquet of flowers in his two fingers that were immaculate and fresh.

“No, I mean what is that?” 

Your eyes were fixed on the large triangular metal sheet with “Happy Birthday” hastily painted on it. The marks of steel being ripped from its center were apparent, so this could only be…

“I thought flowers weren’t enough so I wanted to make a placard… but I didn’t have any materials so I just used this traffic sign that I accidentally cut off during the chase.”

The absurdity of it all made you question your sanity. So he couldn’t find an illustration board or something similar but there was paint lying around? Were you just in a fever dream? That was the most logical explanation, but the strength of the scent of his sweat when he stepped closer to you suggested otherwise. 

“Sorry… is it too much?” 

The puppy eyes that you kept falling for had landed a critical hit once again. Yes, it was too much - too much compared to what you had expected he would ever do for you for something so inane as this. Yet your heart couldn’t help but swell with delight at his efforts.

“You didn’t have to, but thank you..”

Without further delay you let him inside your warm apartment. He handed over his bouquet and the improvised placard which you placed on the table and swapped for your own present. All the while you continued to barrage him with questions and words of concern: Why was his uniform in tatters? Was he injured? Why did he push himself to come here today? Yet he answered none of those and simply sprawled beside your bed. 

“At least change first, please?”

“Too tired… ran all the way here,” he panted. The image of him running poker faced with the giant stop sign was one you never thought you’d have to imagine, but then again nothing was impossible with Tetchou.

“Besides,” he continued, eyes only half open. “I promised you I’d come today. You were so excited so… can’t… just…”

You quickly caught him before his face hit the floor. He should have come tomorrow instead. Or maybe on the weekend if he was that busy. A few more days to add to the weeks you hadn’t seen him in person was nothing compared to his immediate welfare.  

The guilt and gratitude overflowed as you pulled him up to your bed. He always took care of you whenever he could, so helping him get a good night’s sleep is the least you could do in return. And that in itself was something you were more than glad to do for him - why would you do any less for the love of your life?

You placed a soft kiss on his forehead.  “Thank you, Tetchou,” you whispered before finally retiring for the night in your spare futon.

🍀⁀➷ When Teccho first met you, you were sleeping on top of the desk with your back on the table and your feet and head hanging off the edges

🍀⁀➷ He walked up to you and poked your cheek making sure you were okay. You immediately woke up and stood up on the desk

🍀⁀➷ He stepped back and held out his hands slightly just to make sure he caught you if you happened to fall

🍀⁀➷ From that point on Teccho would follow you around just in case you happened to fall asleep somewhere that wasn't safe

🍀⁀➷ You would often refer to yourself as a sleepy boy and Teccho just adopted that as a pet name for you

🍀⁀➷ The first time he saw you sleeping standing up it concerned him, heavily

🍀⁀➷ He just picked you up bridal style and carried you to your home and put you to bed. He stayed to make sure you were safe and made you a snack for when you woke up

🍀⁀➷ You once fell asleep in front of him in a cabinet, and it took him and other person to pull you out

“Huh, you sure like to sleep anywhere, sleepy boy?”

“It's not my fault! I'm just…exhausted all the time.”

🍀⁀➷ Has tripped over your sleeping body before when you fell asleep on the floor, and surprisingly you didn't wake up when he did

🍀⁀➷ Does panic a lot when he finds you sleeping in odd places, but only because he doesn't want you to get hurt by the others around you

🍀⁀➷ If you both are working, and you end up falling asleep, Teccho picks you up and lays you on his lap, so you can nap

🍀⁀➷ Will glare at others if they're loud and disturbing your napping session

🍀⁀➷ Teccho also pats your head to soothe you if you appear to be having a nightmare

🍀⁀➷ Kisses your head or cheek when you sleep because of how cute you look

🍀⁀➷ Sort of looks forward to you falling asleep because it means that you lay on his lap, and he gets a moment of peace with you

🍀⁀➷ It's rare this happens, but Teccho will nap with you on the couch that has become yours at work

🍀⁀➷ Doesn't mind napping with you or cuddling you while you sleep, as long as you're sleeping and you're safe

🍀⁀➷ You end up not feeling sleepy as much, but when you do, you will sleep on the table sometimes when Teccho isn't around

🍀⁀➷ He does get worried about you when he isn't around or when he's busy doing other things because he doesn't want people to trip over you or hurt you when you're asleep

Some bsd theories for future chapters bc why not

1. Atsushi will join the Port Mafia because of the bounty on his head.

2. Fyodor had switched with Sigma.

3. Bram wrote in the book to create Fyodor.

4. Teccho and Teruko would die, but Yosano would bring them back as well as Tachihara. Jouno probably won’t need to be healed or declined to go through with it.

5. Mori worked at the orphanage that Atsushi was at before being drafted into the military. This is where he met Mari (his IRL daughter), and was going to adopt her but couldn’t so he made Elise to look like her, but was unable to make her personality like how she was, so when he got out of the war, he had forgotten how she acted so he made it like Yosano’s (and later Dazai). (I don’t suport how he treated either Dazai or Yosano).

“So, how long have you been together?” Kenji said, looking up at Tecchou. “What?” Tecchou stopped, confused. “You and Jouno.” “okay— we aren’t— I’m not— he’s not—” Tecchou flushed red at Kenjis accusation. “We are not together” he managed to say. “Oh, you’re just in love with Jouno.” Kenjis stated, causing Tecchou’s face to turn redder. “I am not— we just work together” “You just tried to kill me because you thought the ada kidnapped him and you literally said that you’ll put Jouno before justice. That shows you’re really in love with him.” “Alright, shut up”

HOW I THINK THE BSD SHIPS ARE AS AGE REGRESSORS

Fyolai

Fyodor regresses to 2-5. He is shy, quiet, and clingy. He enjoys nap time and "cooking" (he thinks he is bigger than he is). He calls Nikolai 'jester' as a title. Sometimes "Mr." And "Sir"

Nikolai regresses to 10-12. He is yappy, over dramatic, and needs activities and attention. He enjoys putting on puppet shows and making crafts with Fyo. He calls Fyo "Sir"

Dazai/Chuuya

Dazai regresses to 4-8. He is whiny and throws a lot of tantrums. He enjoys breaking stuff and playing with toys that aren't his. He calls Chuuya his big brother or just whines

Chuuya regresses to 12-15. He is mean and likes to shop at the mall and play video games. He wont use any title for Dazai out of spite.

RanPoe -

Ranpo regresses to 2-3. He is a babbly clingy toddler who likes doodling and clinging to Poe's leg. He also loves little sweets. He refers to Poe as his name, Sir, or Mr. Poe

Poe regresses to 8-10. He enjoys writing (ofc) and watching movies and playing board games. He is also INCREDIBLY clingy. He is constantly tugging on his clothes trying to get kisses. He calls Ranpo "Detective or Mr. Detective"

Teccho/Jouno

Teccho regresses to a dog, probably some sort of shepher or doberman. He is always at Jouno's feet. Jouno is soft with him and gives him treats, pets, and trains him. They go out and he has a collar on (but it's a subtle chain) and basically acts as a guard/guide dog for Jouno.

Jouno regresses to a kitten. A cuddly princess kitten. That is all

Don't get me wrong I love Dazai and Chuuya but I want to know who else can you see yourself writing a bsd x reader for?? It doesn't have to be for the isekai au either I just have a lot of bsd brainrot and I love the way you write :3

💌 Since it seems a lot of people are interested I made a teir list for my bsd brainrot!

💌 If people want to make request I'm 100% down and here's my list of how motivated towards characters I would be! This could be romantic, platonic, sibling/family dynamics, yandere, whatever the case may be. I just like writing and character dynamics are my bread and butter.

💌 As we can see Nikolai, Dazai, Chuuya & Fyodor are 11/10 the "I will always write for them because I am down bad." My google docs is full of wips for them!

💌 Ango, Sigma, Poe & Ranpo are 8/10 all characters I have ideas for but have not written or fleshed out said ideas!

💌 Kunikida, Mushitaro, Oda, Atsushi & Bram, 7/10 I occasionally think about but have not made any effort to conceptualize fics for them.

💌 Fukuzawa, Mori, Yosano, Kouyou & Tachihara are all characters that I find neat and interesting and would be down to write for because they seem fun to work with!

💌 Gin, Akutagawa, Teccho,Teruko, Jouno, Kyoka, Kenji, Lucy, Hirotsu & yes even Kaji are all characters that I don't think about in my day to day so I'd probably need ideas for them to spark an interest, but I wouldn't mind trying to see if I could write for them.

💌 Everyone else under no, I just can't see myself writing for due to personality types or just not having enough source material to feel comfortable writing for them. I try really hard to make everyone feel in character and I would feel bad.

Teccho: He’s a boobs man. Any sort of chest on any love interest, he will fixate on them so much. Likes squeezing and sucking on them so much

Jouno: Ass man, definitely. Whenever he wraps his arms around his partner, he always makes sure to give a little squeeze.

Tachihara: Boobs guy. He rests his head on them, and sighs softly before pushing his fave in between them.

BSD headcanons but they are all about or related to teeth:

When Ranpo was 24 he finally went to the orthodontist, which led to him getting braces. When he's 26 he gets powers chains, and when he's 27 he finally gets them off.

Atsushi gets braces soon after he joins the agency, but doesn't really understand what they're for. He kinda thinks of them as inside muzzles, no matter how many times people tell him that's not the case. He gets his braces off at 20. He also has very sharp canines and very high canines.

Dazai 100% made fun of these two for it, only for Chuuya to reveal one day that Dazai had braces from when he was 15 to 18. And he had basically every attachment and wire you can think of. He never even got them properly off, he just used pliers one day to get them off himself.

If Dazai had the most messed up teeth, Chuuya has the most perfect teeth. He didn't even have to get his wisdom teeth out. He instead takes videos of everyone he knows getting their wisdom teeth out.

Akutagawa lost his baby teeth really late, so he was like 14-16 when his fell out. And then his wisdom teeth were only taken out when he was around 21. He spilled major secrets to Atsushi and Chuuya. He also takes very good care of his teeth, he has a night guard and every hygiene product imaginable.

Kenji uses tooth paste and tooth brushes meant for dogs. He says it just makes more sense to him. No one mentions it.

Naomi uses Junichiro tooth brush. She knows it's gross, and she wants to stop, but it's become a habit. Junichiro does not know about this.

Kyouka, Sigma, Lovecraft, and Ranpo all use kids toothpaste in various flavours. The only shared flavour they like is bubblegum.

Dazai makes homemade toothpaste. He makes it in a large pot like once a month and then uses it. It's technically safe but he hopes he'll die quicker this way. He also swallows his toothpaste after every time he brushes his teeth, which is basically every other day.

Kunikida is one of the flossers guys, he just flosses everywhere. He understands it grosses some people out so he always covers his mouth with his hand.

Edgar uses a very expensive and sparkly toothpaste. His smile literally shines.

Most of the hunting dogs all share the same toothpaste. Teruko uses the least, Jouno uses the middle amount, Tachihara uses the most, and Teccho isn't allowed to use the toothpaste because it runs out in like 3 days if he uses it. He just uses mouthwash and a toothbrush.

Nikolai has metal. Just in his teeth. Why or how it's there is anyone's guess.

Thank you so much! This would be somewhat challenging given that we barely have any history on the Hunting Dogs, but let’s see what we can do!

I’ll focus mostly on the character traits and the dynamic between these two, given the generous amount of comic relief we’ve been granted by Asagiri-sensei every time they happen to be in close proximity of each other.

Teccho:

Considered the strongest swordsman in The Hunting Dogs

Simple-natured

Follows the samurai code of honor (the real Teccho Suehiro was of samurai lineage)

Values strength, honor, discipline and loyalty

Has a strong sense of justice and respect for life

Dislikes Jouno’s sadistic side

Masterful in investigation and questioning

Values efficiency over personal space

Has a short fuse

Intolerant towards those of unsophisticated nature (Teccho), noisy and unpredictable people (Teruko), or ridiculous people in general

Given that they are more or less opposites of each other, it probably shouldn’t come as a surprise that they regularly have heated arguments.

On the surface, it appears that Teccho is painfully simple, unsophisticated in his ways of thinking, which Jouno finds incomprehensible and even repulsive. But it would also seem that on a more fundamental level, they are at odds due to their clashing ways of viewing other people.

Teccho values duty and justice, and wants to apprehend the criminals so that they can have a fair trial. He doesn’t want to catch the ADA for his own enjoyment, and that may be why he finds Jouno’s torturing tactics irksome since they go against his very principles. Jouno’s way of gathering information by manipulation may be effective since it draws out his victims’ honest reactions, but fear alone can’t stop people from lying to protect those they care about. In this incident with the cafe manager, it was clear that Teccho’s sincere and earnest desire to administer justice won over the manager much more quickly (I guess it was somewhat like a good cop, bad cop combination, so maybe they really could make a good team after all).

There’s also that part about the Hunting Dogs being genetically modified to have physically enhanced bodies, which I hope we’ll learn more in detail later. It could link to the circumstances in which they joined the Hunting Dogs unit, and possibly their motivation for undergoing the modifications.
